“Everyone can plan their perfect road trip”
Prior to a professional career in the motorhome and campervan industry, me and the team have been lucky enough to own a huge variety of live-in vehicles over the past 30 years. You name it, we’ve probably had it: vintage VW, self-build campervan (several!), 7-metre motorhome, 6-berth caravan and the tiniest vintage commie caravan painted in duck egg blue. They have all been great at different times and suited different things.

One thing they all have in common is that we have been able to indulge in all sorts of road trips across the UK and Europe - and experienced the positives and negatives of a variety of travel styles!
Award-winning campervan hire business
We professionalised our passion in 2017 by creating a business hiring bespoke boutique-style campervans, partnering with many tourism partners to enhance the hire experience.
The business was recognised with many accolades and awards for its unique marketing and branding.
Along came Covid 19 and with a grounded fleet, our tourism network grew as well as an interest in supporting the many unique and interesting leisure and tourism businesses that were heavily impacted by the pandemic. Our director was invited to sit on the board of directors on the local tourist board to help bolster efforts for a recovering industry. Read more about our awards.
Seeing first-hand how joining the dots brought the tourism industry together after the impact of Covid 19, created a seed.
This, coupled with the growing trend of “bookable” experiences that grew from digital tourism, and then married together with a passion for multi-destination road trip holidays, meant Uncover Britain Road Trips was seeded.
The concept of regional road trips has been supported by many early-adopting tourist boards who spent many hours in conversation with the team. We are very grateful for all the support shown to get the guides off the ground.
